Kellen Cooper-Sansone is a focused and creative designer with a passion for functional, beautiful work. He excels in product research, project planning, sketching, technical drawing, digital rendering, digital and physical prototyping, and product presentation. Kellen is a graduate of Metropolitan State University Of Denver with eight years of professional experience as a designer.

He started his journey as a designer as Magpul’s first even intern and softgoods designer. Later Kellen worked as a softgoods prototype designer and fabricator at Hexhead. After that he joined the team at Boa as an instructional designer and illustrator. In 2016 Kellen returned to Magpul as an industrial designer. There he designed a variety of products including knives, cases, softgoods, wallets, buckles, and most notably sunglasses. Kellen is currently working as an industrial designer at OtterBox. He is expanding their outdoor product and B2B/ Promotional catalogues and working on teams to improve the hiring and onboarding processes for remote and hybrid designers and engineers.

Outside of work he never stops designing and making. Kellen enjoys making wristwatches, building guitars, playing those guitars, illustrating, riding his motorcycle or his skateboard, and later fixing his motorcycle or his skateboard. He has built and sold over 200 watches since 2015, and has a lot more to go. Kellen currently lives in Thornton, Colorado with his partner, Andrea.
